Keeping it Simple

cress growing in a teacup

Sometimes life is complicated enough.

Sometimes something really simple hits the spot.

Like a teacup filled with damp cotton wool and scattered with mustard and cress seeds. Harvested after 4 days and  devoured in some very yummy egg and cress sandwiches. Growing your own at its very simplest 🙂

Spotted this little gem at the Chelsea Flower Show; cress seedlings growing in plastic bottle tops.  (Click on the image to enlarge.)

The perfect recycled container for tiny hands or for putting into miniature gardens?  We think so.
